Hello!

I have been practicing yoga since 2015. I began as a way to stay fit and do 'something for myself'. As I began taking two or more classes a week I observed developments both on and off the mat - not only was I feeling stronger and more flexible physically, I began to feel more grounded in my life in general, more able to draw boundaries where I hadn't before.

Over the years the exploration of breath and mediation, chakras, asanas and regular practice has supported me manage anxiety and stress, place pauses where needed, and the focus on my well-being and my own experience of life has been eye-opening!

I completed my WYA 200hr YTT in 2022 with TK Yoga Retreat. I hold Hatha and Yin yoga certification. I am attuned in Reiki Healing (Reiki Master), trained and certified in Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, and Lymphatic Facial & Ear Candling.

Using the skills and experience I have developed my aim is to support the recognition of our bodily knowledge and our mind-body connection. Through attention, space, connection, and focus yoga & holistic therapies can help us reclaim our bodies and minds, inhabit our physical and emotional spaces fully, and release everyday and deep-seated stress...leading to more authentic connection and interaction with ourselves and others. Our vibration is our currency.

In our yoga practice we aim for the quality of the stretch and pose - how this looks and feels is different for every body. A focus on our own 'skeletability' and the functional approach encourages your own personal connection, the space to reconnect mind and body, and explore.

My Reiki sessions with Anna have been absolutely wonderful. During the sessions I am able to connect with my body in a way that just doesn't seem possible in day to day life. The peace I feel afterwards stays with me for a long time.

I'd say I'm relatively fit for my age but my body has taken a beating with work and surgeries. Doing the yoga classes has definitely helped me check my posture and stretch my muscles, and relax!
