Why Yoga and Holistic Health?
We sometimes struggle to recognise that we have been living in our heads, our minds, more than our bodies. As a society there is a focus on wellness to counter-act the external demands our society places on us, individually and collectively. In consciously exploring, reconnecting with and acknowledging our physical state and well-being we can release stored tension, negative energy, and stress.
Each time we make time for ourselves, or come to the mat we face a new day, a new experience, we aim to accept the constant changes of the here and now without judgement. We observe as we move toward ourselves, realigning our thoughts and bodies, towards the space we create, towards the present. We are all on our own personal journey, with our own unique minds and bodies. Yoga and holistic therapies can support us in de-cluttering our focus and mental chatter, reconnecting with our physical experience and support development towards our own connection and sense of self.
